I was on Leader from the Exultant crew in the Gulf War. I sold a video of the Gulf War tour of the Leader about a year ago. I hope everyone here that is interested has it as I am in Military Sealift Command and can not make more copies at this time. I was onboard during the mine hit.

It is a great thing that Mike has done to put this page up. The Leader and the 65 Market Time patrol changed my life. I loved that ship and the men I served. I hope they all found their way home. Thanks Mike for keeping the lady alive for all of us.

Great website! I served on the Leader from Feb '82-Jun '86. Was tough duty, but had some really great times. I would like everyone who has an interest in these ships to do what they can to help the "Save an MSO Foundation" I recieved my brass deck screw a few weeks ago, and can't wait til I get to go have it mounted.

The only recommendation I would make is to bold and underline the names of all the other ships in the narrative. Either that or italicize them to differentiate from "LEADER". I am a former commanding officer of "WARBLER" MSC 206. (1966-1968)
